My educational journey

Welcome to the Education section of Tai alley portfila. Here, you'll find details about my academic path, from Year 9 to Year 12, highlighting subjects that sparked my interest and the valuable lessons learned both inside and outside the classroom.

Big picture study's

During my time in Years 9 through 12, I engaged deeply with a variety of subjects in big picture. the most profound learning often came from exploring concepts beyond the curriculum. These out-of-school explorations allowed me to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, fostering a sense of curiosity and a proactive approach to learning that I am particularly proud of.

art study's

During my years in Karratha, I explored art repeatedly, and I’d say art was one of my Favorite subjects throughout my schooling. Each project felt like a new chance to experiment, to push my imagination beyond the familiar, and to express parts of myself that words often failed to capture. The studio buzzed with colour, texture, and ideas, and I found myself eagerly looking forward to class, curious about what I could create next. Those art lessons didn’t just teach me technique—they also taught me patience, observation, and the joy of persistent practice.

outdoor ed study

This year, I joined Outdoor Ed for the first time, and I’ve enjoyed it more than I expected. Being outside, learning practical skills, and connecting with classmates in a different setting has opened my eyes to how much I can learn when the environment becomes my classroom. I’ve discovered a sense of confidence in navigating hikes, handling gear, and solving problems on the spur of the moment. Outdoor Ed has reminded me that learning isn’t just about textbooks—it’s about experiences, teamwork, and embracing the unexpected.
